- The Institute will offer training on cooking/baking, housekeeping, catering, food and beverage service, front office, guest services, trekking guide, tour guide by selecting trainees from its catchment area.

- It will conduct different kinds of short-term courses in hospitality businesses according to the needs of the industry institutions and agencies.

- The participants will pay a minimum enrollment and tuition fees. Only for learners/trainees who cannot afford to pay, the management will seek sponsors. The participants will be awarded a course participation certificate accredited by the concern authorities.

Course Audience:

Training courses and capacity building courses will be offered to a wide gamut of population of Bandipur Municipality and adjoining villages and districts. In particular, the not-so-educated workforce and talents will be targeted with a vision of harnessing the opportunities and strengths of Bandipur’s unproductive workforce and developing human resources for local employment and empowerment, not to forget, the development of value based tourism in Bandipur. Differently-abled talents can also be the potential audience for the courses.


Organization like Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN) and GATE will be approached to help link and facilitate on the job practical experiences with hotels and hospitality centers in Pokhara, Kathmandu and major metropolis.

BIHM and its collaborating partners will make concerted efforts to mobilize the networks of the hotel entrepreneurs, friends and well-wishers, tourism personalities and media for placement opportunities.
